Grand Combing Search Operation

Dated 28th December 2023, Joint grand combing search operation of Sindh Rangers and Anti-Narcotics Force in Old Golimar of South Zone Police in District Kemari. The operation is being conducted under the supervision of SSP District Kemari “Arif Aslam Rao”. More than 500 officers and men of SP SITE Division Police, Rangers and Anti-Narcotics Force are participating in the operation. Old Golimar and adjacent areas have been cordoned-off while teams have been formed and the search process is going on in the area. So far, more than a dozen suspects have been taken into custody in the operation, while the Gutka Mawa factory has also been seized along with the recovery of arms and drugs. Drug peddling has been brought under control after successive operations and targeted operations in Old Golimar and adjoining areas said by SSP Kemari. The series of operations will continue until the complete elimination of drugs and other illegal activities from the said area. Other measures including permanent checkpoints and police pickets are being taken to prevent drug mafia and criminal elements from becoming active again in the future. Legal action will also be taken against those who provide them with houses on rent, including legal measures to seize the properties of drug dealers/criminal elements. It will die only by eliminating drugs like poison from the society, said by SSP Kemari.
