The Statistical Branch is child branch of Reader to DIGP South Zone Karachi. As the head of the Statistical Branch at DIGP South Zone Karachi, my role is centred on the comprehensive management and analysis of crime-related data. I am responsible for overseeing the collection and interpretation of crime statistics, conducting in-depth analysis to identify patterns and trends, and presenting detailed crime reports to inform strategic decision-making. My focus extends to formulating future strategies aimed at reducing crime rates and enhancing public safety. Leveraging advanced analytical tools such as Power BI and Looker Studio etc, my branch ensures a cutting-edge approach to understanding and addressing criminal activities. Additionally, I play a crucial role in identifying crime hotspots, allowing for targeted and proactive law enforcement efforts within the South Zone.

As the Account Branch Officer at DIGP South Zone Office, responsibilities include meticulous management of police employee payrolls, timely issuance of granted funds to Operation Unit, Investigation Unit, and SP PHQ Garden. The role involves overseeing the Shaheed Compensation Package and providing financial assistance to eligible individuals. Additionally, the Officer manages other financial packages for the families of deceased officers, as well as specific packages for serving and retiring police officers and officials. This position demands a thorough understanding of financial regulations, compassionate handling of compensation matters, and efficient financial management within the police department.

The Women & Children Protection Cell at DIGP South Zone Karachi is focused addressing a range of critical issues affecting the vulnerable segments of our community, dedicated to resolving complaints related to domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuses, child neglect, stalking, human trafficking, kidnapping of children, forced marriage, harassment at the workplace, kidnapping and abduction of women, and child marriage. Through a combination of compassionate intervention, legal advocacy, and collaborative efforts with relevant authorities and support services, creating a safer environment for women and children in the South Zone, further instrumental in providing protection, support, and justice to those affected by these sensitive issues.
